When Matt Bowder, better known as The Unfinished, approached me to create a short demo for his latest Zebra synth soundset, Refrakt II, I knew I was in for a real challenge. Refrakt II is an exceptional tool designed for crafting dark, twisted, and hybrid synthetic sounds, ideal for modern cinematic compositions. Drawing inspiration from renowned composers like Lorne Balfe, Tom Holkenborg, Tyler Bates, and Ludwig Göransson, this soundset has an array of tempo-synched patches, arpeggiators, basslines sequences and percussive rhythms.
